Hello,
My name is LocksmithArmy. As my name states I am a locksmith in the US Army, but that is not why I created that name. The name was a thought I had when I wanted to make a new email for business only. I needed something that was not getting flooded with spam so I made myself a Gmail account. The plan was to be a locksmith army, not a locksmith in the army. I will defeat every lock I come across like an army. I am strictly reserved to only using NDE (Non-Destructive Entry) techniques and never ever drilling a lock. But since I was studying to be a locksmith and in the army it all worked out in the end.
This site is about my experiences with locks and picks. In the Lock Picks section you will find reviews of all the picks I own and quasi instructions on how to make the picks I have made, and what materials have worked best for me. In the Locks section you will find information on the pick ability of each lock I have encountered and other information regarding locks that I pick. And the links section will have various links to get you to sites that may be useful to you. Following each link is a short description so you know what you will be going to if you choose to click that link.
There is also a nice little tutorial I am putting together in the Lock Picking section. It will take you through all the steps of becoming an accomplished picker. But like all the sections mentioned above it is a work in progress and will take time to write all the articles.
I suppose I should add this disclaimer: I am not a sales person or affiliated with any of the companies I mention. All views and opinions are mine, I have my preferences and they are clearly expressed; however, I try my best to point out the good things and bad things of all the products I review. My intention is not to teach people how to commit crimes but merely to aid in a persons choice in which picks to buy or to aid in someone picking a lock if they are having trouble: or even to send aid toward the lock picker looking to challenge himself or buy locks that are a bit easier than what he has. I do not condone the picking of locks that you do not own unless you are a professional and have explicit permission to do so. All the locks I review will be owned by me and not attached to anything. This site is primarily intended for the hobby picker and the security professional, not to teach you how to burgle someone or how to break into your high school and change your test score. I can not be held liable for the misuse of this information.
I hope you enjoy and learn all you want. I will try to keep this up to date, but no promises.
